Footworxx - Sandy Warez Birthday Party - 7/2/09

Excellent start to the year !

I was a bit worried about the travelling conditions as it was snowy pretty heavy here in Newcastle, but it was all good. No delays at all, even Heathrow was quite pleasurable as I bumped into oldskool legends The Ratpack who were off to play in Germany.

Babyboom & crew greated me @ Brussels airport with a big crate of beer, nice ! Party time ! Then it was a 60 minue or so drive to Oostende to Lindsays's house and another group of nice people who made me fell so welcome, with beer, scotch & cough medicine ! They even had some special Smurf T-shirts made. Respect you nutters !

We eventually got to the party around 12:30. Wow. I wasn't expecting it to be so big !It had 3 massive arena's which were all very very busy, with around 2,000 in each arena ! Excellent hard techno music all around !

Great sets I saw by Tymon, Sandy Warez, Micropoint, Ophidian & Tieum and nice to meet Tymon when I wasn't too drunk to remember!

Many thanks to the Babyboom, Lindsay, The gay car driver (ha ha), everyone at the house (whose names I forget) for looking after me.

And big thanks and respects to Sandy for having me play at his birthday party!
