MadTech - 14/8/09

MadTech returns to the South Coast after an absence of around 15 years. Flight to Gatwick and a few pints and food in sunny Brighton with Gareth & Claire MadTech.

The club had 2 rooms of music, one happy hardcore, 2nd techno, hardstyle, hard techno & hardcore techno. A perfect combination ! Both had banging sound systems.

Superb warm up set from X-Cite of some old techno & hard acid classics, followed by Matt Handy who played some banin' hard-hardstyle and techno. Next up was The Boss, Lenny Dee, who shranzed and hard techno'd it up. By this point the happy hardcore room was empty :) I finished the night off with some Smurfcore and Industrial Strength classics at the end.

Excellent party, great hospitality and some mad conversations, mostly about poo with old friend Cathy from Brighton. Mental, ha ha.

7am flight to Edinburgh with Lenny Dee was fun and we weren't feeling as rough as expected, until I had a 10 minute power-nap on the flight and felt terrible when I woke up ! Rock n roll !

Met loads of new weird and wonderful people and it was nice to play to a completely new crowd from the South Of England and introduce them to Smurfcore !
